The new radio series has ended. Frankly, I won't miss it.

The acting was as good as ever, but the script was fanfic. Too often plodding and leaden. And far too many .

For the finale, Mr. Robson makes the world's dullest video, there is some silliness involving sandwiches, and Becky rides off into the sunset in Jacko's hot-air balloon.

Lucy is wound up tighter than tight before hearing her HIV test results. Josh is no help; Dennis offers his lucky pebble. Parents' evening gives Mr. Robson an excuse to strut around with a clipboard, but it's Mr. Jones who has the speed date.
