Some scammer wrote to me today, saying that he had put malware on my computer, used my webcam to record compromising video of me, and had then stolen my address book. Said he is going to email the video to everybody I know if I don't pay up, in bitcoin, right away.
Yeah, I have had tape over my webcam for years now. And it is pretty clear that the scammer has just stolen the email database of an online merchant I have used.

@skiring Ya know, had this a few weeks back; And actually this is funnily/lazily based off an episode of Black Mirror called 'Shut Up And Dance' -- called them out on it, no response.
