I needed a way to install packages from Github that didn't have apt repositories, so I wrote a short script that will take some repository names, find the latest .deb in releases, and install/upgrade it if it's not already installed:

I just tried @kde and I'm an instant convert. Feels solid, looks great, feels as snappy as XFCE, is very configurable, and solves some annoyances I had.
You can see a great amount of work has gone into it. It feels like I'm using OS X, very very well done.
